This conference is the third in the series on Unmanned Aerial Systems with applications to real world scenarios. It focuses on UAS, supportive technologies, software environments and the associated key research issues. The aim is to bring together the research community and to provide an opportunity to share experiences and views on current trends and activities in the domain. In addition to regular papers, the workshop highlights student posters and demonstrations that showcase real-world applications of UAS.

AETOS

AETOS is a French research and development initiative for the development of the RPAS/UAV sector in the Aquitaine region, south west of France. Supported by Thales and the Aquitaine Regional Council, it was established in 2010. Besides hosting the main players in the aeronautical sector like Thales, Dassault, EADS and Safran, AETOS also encompasses innovative small businesses, academia, research institutes and training centers. AETOS hosts a bi-annual conference in conjunction with the UAV Show Europe, held in Merignac, Bordeaux. Next conference will be held in Bordeaux, France in 2016.
