XFlow™ CFD is a next-generation computational fluid dynamics package for modeling external aerodynamics of sub-sonic fixed-wing and rotorcraft UAVs. XFlow eliminates the guesswork in CFD, specifically the construction of computational mesh and selection of turbulence models, providing a meshless method employing the most advanced wall-modified LES (large eddy simulation) turbulence model. XFlow CFD supports complex motion of multiple, complicated moving parts, making it simple to model the effects of control surface motion in high-lift (take-off and landing) configurations and/or separation of munitions or separable stores. XFlow CFD also directly models aeroacoustics, making it possible to optimize designs for low acoustical signature.
